Mandy Eskelson, Program Coordinator

Mandy Eskelson, Program Coordinator

Mandy joined the Environmental Stewards in January 2016. She has a B.A. in English from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT. Mandy was lucky enough to grow up in a family and area that encouraged being outside as much as possible, leading to her strong environmental advocacy and outdoor enthusiasm.

These experiences and passions led Mandy into a myriad of job positions, indoors and out, from being a Peace Corps Volunteer English teacher in Rwanda, a wilderness therapy field instructor and as a whitewater river guide in Utah and Colorado. In gratitude of such experiences, Mandy hopes to provide opportunities for others to help conserve local environments while gaining important life and job skills for their futures.

When not in the office, you can find Mandy climbing rocks, floating rivers, backpacking in the desert, scrambling up mountains, her nose in a book, geeking out over maps, or baking up a storm in the kitchen.
