Amy Showalter, Program Director

Amy Showalter is the Program Director of Community Stewards. Amy brings energy for effective communication and administration, holistic approaches, and service learning to this role. Amy’s previous experience includes coordinating the OSMRE/VISTA Team, managing home repair projects as an AmeriCorps member in Tucson, Arizona, working in residential care in her hometown of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and teaching environmental education through hiking-based programs in New Hampshire’s White Mountains with the Appalachian Mountain Club. Amy graduated from Goshen College with a degree in Bible, Religion & Philosophy, and a minor in International Studies.
